Gin Gin Mezzanotte, la drag queen di origine taiwanese residente a Milano, sarà la protagonista della Pink Night. Amante del gin e della notte, Gin Gin ha plasmato il suo personaggio con un occhio attento alla cinematografia asiatica. In questa chiacchierata, ci racconterà come è nato il suo personaggio ed insieme esploreremo il mondo vibrante della drag culture, un’arte che non è solo intrattenimento ma anche attivismo e atto politico. Concluso l’aperitivo, a tenerci sveglƏ fino a tarda notte sarà il programma della Pink Night che ospiterà la performance live di Gin Gin Mezzanotte.

A lover of gin and of nightlife, Gin Gin shaped her character with a keen eye on Asian cinematography. In this conversation she’ll tell us how her character was born and together we’ll explore the vibrant world of drag culture, an art that is not just entertainment but also activism and politics. And after the aperitif, Pink Night will keep us up until late with a programme that includes  a live performance from Gin Gin.
