Pink Night: The Party

Rosa, eros, sessualità: le parole d’ordine della Pink Night! L’iconica serata pink del Far East Film Festival si ispira da sempre al genere cinematografico giapponese pinku eiga, caratterizzato dai provocatori contenuti erotici. Adottando una prospettiva transfemminista, mette in discussione la rappresentazione dei corpi, esplorando le diverse sfaccettature dell’eros attraverso un party notturno che ospita performance e DJ set.

Questa edizione vedrà la partecipazione di due performer internazionali, l’artista Rafał Pierzyński (DIVAS/V/blask) e Xinyi, DJ e media artist.

La performance di Rafał Pierzyński (DIVAS/V/blask) mette in scena un malizioso rito di passaggio tra i regni “dell’interno” e “dell’esterno” in una continua trasformazione da un mostro all’altro. Attraverso le forze dell’erotico e dalla danza collettiva, tra il mitico e l’umano, fa esplodere l’idea di natura e di normalità per liberare e percepire il sé e le altre persone. L’artista rivendica il diritto di essere mostri, rifiutando la normatività come strumento di oppressione e controllo. Queer dancing fool, danza tra i mondi e ci guida a fare lo stesso. Con un piede a terra e uno in aria, si muove oltre i confini del maschile, del femminile e del cyborg, invitandoci a superare i binarismi.

Xinyi esplora l’estetica del territorio ambiguo tra suoni naturali e artificiali. È affascinata dalla forma organica dei suoni elettronici e propone set musicali che scorrono da atmosfere oscure e ambient a ritmi profondi e irregolari.

Ad aprire e chiudere la serata sarà Triptamica: musicista e dj, i suoi set sono seducenti, leftfield, imprevedibili come una triptammina e calorosi come un’amica.L’associazione MisMàs contribuirà a rendere la serata uno spazio safer sarà presente con un banchetto di riduzione del danno: troverete alcol test gratuiti, volantini con informazioni sulle sostanze psicoattive, giochi a tema limitazione dei rischi e stampe antiproibizioniste.

Pink, eros, sexuality: the watchwords of Pink Night! The iconic pink evening of the Far East Film Festival has always been inspired by the Japanese film genre pinku eiga, which is characterised by provocative erotic content. Adopting a transfeminist perspective, it questions the representation of bodies, exploring the different facets of eros through talks, performances, installations and DJ sets.

This year’s edition will feature two international performers: the artist Rafał Pierzyński (DIVAS/V/blask) and Xinyi, DJ and media artist.

Rafał Pierzyński (they/them) in their eusexual intervention transforms from one monster to another, performing a wicked rite of passage between inside and outside realms. Transitioning through the portal held by the powers of the erotic, the witnessing and the dancing together; between mythical and human, they explode the idea of nature and normal to free and feel themselves and the others. Reclaiming their right to be a monster, rejecting the normal as a way to oppress and control.

Rafał Pierzyński (DIVAS/V/blask) is a queer dancing fool moving between worlds and guiding you to do the same. With one foot on the ground and one in the air they drop hot between and beyond the edge and the center, the male, the female and the cyborg, urging us to shine beyond binary already.

XINYI is a DJ and media artist based in Berlin who explores aesthetics within the ambiguous territory between natural and artificial tones. She is obsessed with the organic form of electronic sounds and presents music that flows from obscure ambience to deeply rhythmic, off-kilter beats.
Opening and closing the night is Triptamica: musician and DJ, her sets are seducing, leftfield, unpredictable like a tryptamine and welcoming like your bestie.
To help make the evening a safer space, the MisMàs association will be there with a Harm Reduction booth: free alcohol tests, flyers with information about psychoactive substances, risk-reduction games, and anti-prohibitionist prints.
