Kiki Hitomi è una producer giapponese e componente di Bass King Midas Sound per Ninja Tune. Il suo Karma No Kusari (le catene del Karma) è un crossover perfetto tra reggae ed enka, che fonde ritmiche giamaicane e struggenti melodie J-pop anni ’50: realizzato interamente senza computer, l’album contiene dieci tracce graffianti di vintage pop, cosmic sound e bashment.
