Il Giappone è da sempre noto per i suoi tè verdi. Tuttavia, alcuni esperti contadini si dedicano con passione alla produzione di tè unici la cui creazione richiede cura ed esperienza. I risultati sono straordinari, completamente diversi da tutto ciò a cui siamo abituati. In questa degustazione, Ikiya presenterà le sue tre rarissime punte di diamante.

I tè da scoprire e degustare sono:
– Oolong stagionato 15 anni BIO: tè giapponese da pianta selvatica (zairai), semi-ossidato, prodotto dalla famiglia Fujisako nel villaggio di Sagara (pref. Kumamoto) con foglie raccolte nel 2007 e lasciate stagionare;
– Torta di tè verde pressato “Hikari“: rarissima torta di tè, esclusiva di Ikiya, creata con pregiato tè verde cotto in padella “kamairicha“, cultivar Surugawase, raccolto nella regione montuosa di Enshu. Aroma fresco e floreale;
– Torta di tè nero pressato “Mare”: rarissima torta di tè giapponese, esclusiva di Ikiya, creata con tè nero “wakocha” di preziosa cultivar Meiryoku

Japan has always been known for its green teas, but several expert farmers are passionately dedicated to producing unique teas whose creation requires care and experience. The results are extraordinary and completely different from anything we are used to. In this tasting, Ikiya will present its three very rare crown jewels.

The teas which participants will discover and sample are:
– Organic Oolong, aged 15 years: a Japanese tea from wild plants (zairai), semi-oxidized, and produced by the Fujisako family in the village of Sagara (Kumamoto prefecture) with leaves harvested in 2007 and left to mature;
– “Hikari” pressed green tea cake: a very rare tea cake exclusive to Ikiya, created with fine pan-cooked “kamairicha” green tea of the Surugawase cultivar and harvested in the mountainous region of Enshu. Fresh and floral aroma;
– “Mare” pressed black tea cake: a very rare Japanese tea cake, exclusive to Ikiya, created with “wakocha” black tea of the precious Meiryoku cultivar, and harvested in the Enshu mountains. Deep, rich and complex notes of caramel and ripe fruit.

Il Giappone è uno dei paesi più famosi per quanto riguarda la storia, la produzione e il consumo di tè. In terra nipponica esistono innumerevoli tipi di questa bevanda e i partecipanti potranno conoscere i più iconici. I tè soggetti di questa degustazione saranno: 

– Bancha: classico tè quotidiano spesso bevuto durante i pasti.
– Genmaicha: tè verde con riso tostato, dalle note di cereali.
– Hojicha: tè verde tostato, con note di caffè e cacao.
– Kukicha: tè verde in rametti senza teina.
– Sencha: tè verde di qualità superiore raccolto in primavera.

Japan is one of the countries most famous for its history, production and consumption of tea. There are countless types of tea in Japan, and participants will get to know the most iconic ones. The teas we’ll be sampling at this tasting will be:

– Bancha: a classic daily tea often drunk during meals.
– Genmaicha: green tea with toasted rice and cereal notes.
– Hojicha: roasted green tea, with notes of coffee and cocoa.
– Kukicha: green tea sprigs without theine.- Sencha: superior quality green tea harvested in spring.
