L’incontro inizierà con un breve viaggio tra le curiosità legate alla figura del drago nella cultura cinese. Nella sua raffigurazione standardizzata, il dragone cinese è l’incarnazione del concetto di yang, lo spirito fecondo e creatore maschile, e rappresenta anche il lignaggio genetico familiare. Nella seconda parte i partecipanti sperimenteranno la pittura con i pennelli cinesi sui ventagli con gli ideogrammi e decori tipici legati al drago, che potranno poi portarsi a casa.

The workshop will begin with a short journey through fun facts related to the figure of the dragon in Chinese culture – in its standardized depiction, the Chinese dragon is the embodiment of the concept of yang, the male fertile and creative spirit, and it also represents the genetic family lineage. In the second part, participants will use Chinese brushes to paint fans with typical dragon-related ideograms and decorations, which they can then take home with them.
