COSPLAY CONTEST

Il Cosplay Contest, uno degli appuntamenti più attesi del Far East Film Festival, festeggia la sua 15^ edizione e trasforma Udine nel palcoscenico di un affascinante mix di personaggi tratti da manga, anime, fumetti, cinema, musica e videogiochi.

Questa edizione sarà ricca di intrattenimento musicale! La novità di quest’anno è la presenza di Pietro Ubaldi, una delle voci più amate del doppiaggio italiano, celebre per aver dato vita a personaggi iconici come Capitan Barbossa (Pirati dei Caraibi) e Doraemon. Ubaldi si esibirà, affiancato da Stefano Bersola, in un concerto dal titolo “Un viaggio d’anime”: un’emozionante immersione nell’universo delle sigle e del cinema d’animazione attraverso le melodie che hanno segnato intere generazioni. Durante la delibera della giuria, Ubaldi terrà un talk sul doppiaggio.

A condurre lo spettacolo: Giorgia Vecchini, storica cosplayer e madrina del contest.

Chi concorrerà alla gara potrà aggiudicarsi, tra i vari premi in palio, una PlayStation 5 Pro offerta da The King of Games.

Per tutta la durata delle iscrizioni e del Contest (11.00 – 18.00) sarà presente anche il corner di Michela Maurizi, in arte MIK¥ Ritratti Manga: prima ritrattista manga italiana e titolare del primo negozio a tema. Con la sua performance live DIVENTA MANGA, in soli 2 minuti, dal vivo e senza stare in posa, Miky vi trasformerà nel vostro personaggio preferito, in tantissime versioni a scelta! Per fare un regalo speciale, vi basterà mostrare  una foto da mostrare sul cellulare, e vedrete realizzato uno splendido ritratto, sul momento, direttamente a china su carta. Un’occasione unica per portarsi a casa un ricordo personalizzato… in perfetto stile giapponese!

The Cosplay Contest, one of the most anticipated events of the Far East Film Festival, celebrates its 15th edition by turning Udine into the stage for a captivating mix of characters from manga, anime, comics, cinema, music, and video games.
This year’s edition promises plenty of musical entertainment! The big news this year is the appearance of Pietro Ubaldi, one of the most beloved voices in Italian dubbing, known for bringing to life iconic characters like Captain Barbossa (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Doraemon. Ubaldi will perform alongside Stefano Bersola in a concert titled “An Anime Journey”: an emotional dive into the world of anime and animated film through the melodies that have marked entire generations.

Hosting the show will be Giorgia Vecchini, legendary cosplayer and longtime patron of the contest.
Among the many prizes, contestants will have the chance to win a PlayStation 5 Pro, offered by The King of Games.

Throughout the registration and the entire duration of the Contest (11:00 am – 6:00 am), you’ll also find the corner of Michela Maurizi, aka MIK¥ Ritratti Manga: the first Italian manga portrait artist and owner of the first theme store. With her live performance “DIVENTA MANGA” In just 2 minutes, live and without posing, Miky will turn you into your favorite character—offering tons of customizable versions! Want to surprise someone with a unique gift? Just show her a photo on your phone, and she’ll create a beautiful ink-on-paper portrait on the spot. A one-of-a-kind chance to take home a personalized memory… in perfect Japanese style!
