Il K-pop è, senza dubbio, uno dei generi più in voga nella scena musicale contemporanea. Abbreviazione di Korean popular music, ha superato i confini della Corea del Sud spopolando in tutto l’Occidente. Il segreto del suo successo? Un incredibile insieme di fattori: musica orecchiabile (chi di noi non canticchia ancora Gangnam style, dopo quasi dieci anni?), coreografie che fondono hip hop e arti marziali, estetica impeccabile. I tre semifinalisti del contest nazionale di K-pop – che si è svolto online – si esibiranno per la opening del FEFF, partner del concorso.

K-pop is undoubtedly one of the most popular genres in the contemporary pop music scene. Short for “Korean popular music”, it has crossed the borders of South Korea and spread throughout the West. The secret of its success? An incredible combination of catchy tunes (who isn’t still humming Gangnam Style almost ten years on?), choreography that fuses hip hop and martial arts, and impeccable aesthetics. The three semi-finalists of the national K-pop contest – which was open to soloists and took place online – will perform for the opening of FEFF, a partner in the competition.
